Short DescriptionUnder the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care.
Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s).
Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.
ResponsibilitiesThe Coronary Care Unit is a 12-bed cardiac intensive care unit. The CCU cares for complex cardiac critical care patients including structural heart (TAVR), pre-cardiac surgery, advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and other critical cardiac disease processes. The CCU nurses receive specialized training to care for our critical care cardiac patients.
Experience Required0-2 years of experience preferred
Education RequirementsHigh School / GED
License/Certification Requirements- Successful completion of an unlicensed health care provider/ technician program
- Completed at least one fundamental nursing course in an accredited Nursing Program
- 1 year or more patient care experience in a similar role.
At least one of the above qualifications/certifications must be met for hire.
AHA Basic Life Support certification - required
Skills- Communication – Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers
- Successful phlebotomy/EKG competency must be completed during orientation
PRN days
4 shifts in a 6-week schedule-(3 weekend shifts)

7a-7:30p
