Short DescriptionProvide psychological assessment and psychotherapeutic intervention for individual outpatient adult population. Work in collaboration with psychiatry team, including residents, in appropriate clinical patient care. Engage in traditional OP psychotherapy rooted in evidence-based interventions, including, but not limited to, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other mindfulness-based interventions. Opportunity to design and lead and facilitate psycho-educational groups; teaching and supervisory support of psychiatry residents on psychotherapy cases;
provide professional presentations as requested (staff in-service, Grand Rounds, medical school); academic appointment through CMSRU and opportunities to support medical students.
Psy.
D./Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
Must be licensed in New Jersey (license eligible will be considered)
