Short DescriptionAssumes responsibility for record keeping, and intra-departmental and Inter-departmental communications.
OverviewKelemen North and South 9 is a two-sided, seventy-six bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. Our staff care for a variety of patient populations, including cardiac, trauma, gastrointestinal, and psych.
To support our staff are Clinical Nurse Managers (CNMs) which help with patient care, through put, and assignments. Nurses who are staffed on Kelemen 9 are required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, which will allow competent and safe care for our complex patient populations.
Experience Required- Previous hospital unit secretary, medical office assistant or medical records experience preferred.
- Additional unit-specific qualification may be required.
- Clerical, communication and customer service experience a plus.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Shift Requirements:
- ROTATING BETWEEN 1ST & 2ND SHIFT
- 6:30AM-3:00PM & 4:00PM-12:30AM
- 3 shifts per week
- Every 3rd weekend preassigned
- rotating holidays
