Payroll Specialist

Description We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team in Camden, New Jersey. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to manage payroll operations for a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in full-cycle payroll processing and a strong understanding of compliance with multi-state payroll regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Handle full-cycle payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.

- Manage payroll operations for over 500 employees across multiple states.

- Process garnishments, deductions, and other adjustments with precision.

- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to streamline payroll operations and maintain accurate records.

- Monitor compliance with state and federal payroll regulations.

- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.

- Generate reports and analyze payroll data to support business decisions.

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration.

- Review and audit payroll transactions to maintain accuracy and prevent errors.

- Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.

- Proven expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations.

- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software.

- Strong knowledge of garnishments, deductions, and payroll adjustments.

- Familiarity with payroll laws and regulations at both state and federal levels.

- Experience managing payroll for large organizations (500+ employees preferred).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
