The Job Details: US Cold Storage is looking for a SharePoint Administrator to join our team. Reporting directly to the IT Operations & Communications Manager, the SharePoint Administrator will support all business areas with the objective of maximizing effective communications and business processes using SharePoint. This candidate will be responsible for technology initiatives, technically build and administer all SharePoint sites, workflow tools, team sites and related technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Train, troubleshoot and provide user support for all users of SharePoint.
  • Add/Delete/Modify user rights within SharePoint.
  • Add/Delete/Modify SharePoint sites and related applications
  • Regular review, cleanup, management and configuration of SharePoint content and sites.
  • Maintain operational documentation detailing technical environment, configuration and support processes.
  • Monitor SharePoint trends (e.g. site usage and growth, disk space usage and growth).
  • Create and leverage super-user community for improved adoption and training.
  • Enhance SharePoint using out-of-the-box features:
    SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and/or third-party technologies.
  • Support and maintain software integration between SharePoint and other in-house business applications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

The Ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications.

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other relevant discipline.
  • Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of experience in SharePoint administration, installation, migration, implementation, topology, and server configuration.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Extensive experience with SharePoint online to include standard features such as workflows, lists and libraries, document management and web parts.
    • Experience with automated workflow tools, such as Power Automate
    • Proficiency in Power Shell – specifically around SharePoint.
    • Some knowledge of ERP or other major software systems and integration.
    • General understanding of networking, IIS, Active Directory, DNS & Windows Services.
    • Strong experience using Identity & Authentication in SharePoint.
    • Propensity for automation & process improvement.
    • Self-motivated learner with ability to quickly become an expert.
    • Aptitude for technology.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities.
    • Must be flexible to change project assignments, requirements, deadlines, and projects.
    • Possess solid logic, writing and language skills.
