A technology-focused firm is hiring a hands‑on Data Center Engineer to support physical infrastructure across multiple facilities in New Jersey.
Responsibilities- Install, rack, cable, and maintain servers and network hardware
- Monitor and troubleshoot hardware issues; coordinate repairs with vendors
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate documentation
- Partner with colocation providers and internal teams to support deployments
- 5+ years in data center or hardware infrastructure roles
- Strong experience with servers, networking, and fiber cabling
- Working knowledge of Linux and basic networking
- Ability to work on‑site, travel locally, and support occasional off‑hours work
