Sap Finance Control Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAP FICO Consultant to join our growing ERP team. The ideal candidate will support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to develop their SAP expertise while working closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical teams to optimize financial processes and reporting.

• Assist in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP FI/CO modules.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Support General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
• Participate in system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues and support tickets.
• Create functional specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces, and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP MM, SD, PP, and ABAP developers.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Support data migration, master data maintenance, and system upgrades.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience supporting SAP FI/CO modules.
• Understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
• Knowledge of SAP FI components including GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, and Fixed Assets.
• Familiarity with SAP CO components such as Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Experience with system testing and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA Finance.
• SAP FICO certification or relevant SAP training.
• Knowledge of integration points with SAP MM, SD, and PP modules.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in manufacturing, healthcare, retail, or consulting environments.
• Understanding of Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
