Principal Enterprise Data Architect

Our client is seeking a Principal Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design and execution of its enterprise-wide data architecture strategy. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity responsible for establishing long-term standards, governance, and architectural direction across cloud platforms, enterprise data environments, analytics, and emerging AI initiatives.

This role will partner with business and technology leaders to modernize data capabilities, improve data accessibility and governance, and develop scalable solutions that enable analytics, real-time processing, and enterprise decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strategic architectural vision with enough technical depth to validate designs and guide engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the organization's enterprise data architecture strategy and long-term roadmap.
• Define standards for enterprise data platforms, governance, integration, security, and analytics.
• Design scalable cloud-based data architectures across AWS and Azure environments.
• Guide teams on data ingestion, storage, movement, transformation, and consumption strategies.

• 15+ years of progressive technology experience.
• 10+ years of application, data, or platform development experience.
• 5+ years in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Solutions Architecture, or a similar senior architecture role.
