Director, Device Portfolio – Lifecycle Management

• Own and drive the end-to-end device portfolio strategy across Fios, FWA, and Video
• Manage OEM strategic partnerships and device ranging
• Define product roadmaps for Verizon Consumer Group Home
• Lead executive-level negotiations with major CPE manufacturers
• Secure favorable unit pricing, exclusive launch timelines, and tailored product features
• Oversee software feature governance and compliance testing teams
• Establish validation and deployment standards to protect active-base customer experience
• Manage device portfolio life cycles from initial ranging through end-of-life
• Lead people and cross-functional teams across complex software compliance and feature governance initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
• Ten or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
• Experience in business support, analytical roles, or working directly with external partners
• Demonstrated success managing multi-million dollar relationships with global hardware OEMs and negotiating technical roadmaps
• In-depth knowledge of consumer premises equipment (CPE) technology, including Fios Fiber routers, ONTs, and FWA receivers
• Strong experience managing software/firmware feature-and-fix governance, compliance standards, and device security certification processes
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data-driven insights to optimize product ranging, lifecycle decisions, and supply chain readiness
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to present complex technical portfolios to senior executives and gain alignment across matrixed organizations
• Experience leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams of senior managers and individual contributors

Demonstrates expertise in managing device portfolio strategies, including Fios and FWA technologies, while leading cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with software governance standards. Proven ability to negotiate with OEMs and optimize product life cycles through data-driven insights.
