PT Preload Supervisor

Job Summary

This position trains and supervises Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity, and various job-related tasks. Holds teams accountable for attendance and submits timecards.

• Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitate training with new and current employees.
• Conduct and participate in group meetings.
• Coordinate evaluations with management.
• Determine best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervise daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.
• Understand and consistently demonstrate UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct.

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong problem solving skills, with ability to multitask.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent
  - Preferred.
• Management experience
  - Preferred.

Base pay ranges from $26.25/hr to $42.65/hr depending on market location and other factors. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
