Job Description:

The Division Senior Manager of Inventory and Logistics is responsible for leading the material and inventory strategy across all division sites and ensuring seamless support of each site's master production schedule. This role partners closely with Supply Chain Leaders to proactively plan, procure, receive, store, and deliver materials to meet manufacturing need dates, production schedule attainment, and customer on-time delivery. The Senior Manager oversees all aspects of material handling, including receipt, storage, accuracy, integrity, and government property compliance, using effective planning techniques, data and backlog management, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) and material requirements planning (MRP) expertise to ensure inventory readiness that supports reliable production execution.

Essential Functions:

* Lead the Stockroom and Logistics Managers at each site and ensure the shipping/receiving, and inventory teams plan for, control, and handle all contract and non-contract inventory (inclusive of Government Property).

* Responsible for driving and maintaining a high degree of performance to each site's operational metrics (Ex: Dock-to-Stock, Aging Production/Manufacturing Orders, Inventory Accuracy, etc.).

* Drive the "Plan for Every Part" mentality across the division through effective MRP use, inventory accuracy, and materials management process execution.

* Ensures a high level of inventory accuracy through an effective cycle count program and supports all site MMAS requirements (Inventory Accuracy & Material Accountability)

* Collaborate with the analytics team to develop and maintain reporting that supports the operational and supply chain metrics:

* Receiving Velocity and Accuracy

* Inventory Accuracy

* Material Receipt Cycle Time

* Work Order/Kitting Execution

* Master Schedule Attainment

* Shipping Velocity and Accuracy

* Help to ensure the supply/inventory side of SIOP process is properly represented and planned for in all SIOP related activities.

* Develop and execute on a warehousing and storage strategy that capitalizes on physical capacity and supports a high-volume manufacturing facility.

* Travel to support multiple sites - 25%

* Must have or be able to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain management, or other technical discipline with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience.

* Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

* 10+ years of operations, materials management, or inventory management experience with 5+ years in a leadership capacity.
Preferred Additional

Skills:

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, influence, and lead across multiple levels, teams, and business units.

* Change agent and leader who can help transform the organization and maintain a high level of engagement.

* Knowledge in government or defense contract material compliance and defense program contracts preferred.

* Six Sigma, Lean, or APICS certification; CPIM certification highly desired.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
