The base salary range represents a good faith salary range for this position. This position is eligible for annual incentive pay and has the opportunity for continued salary growth. If you are hired at American Water your base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as market, geography, skills, education and/or experience. Primary RoleReporting to the Sr Director, Health & Safety, this role is responsible for supporting American Water’s Health & Safety compliance oversight and monitoring programs. Working closely with the state H&S teams to ensure compliance with American Water standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to industrial hygiene. Responsible for managing a 3rd party to maintain an enterprise-wide Industrial Hygiene (I.H.) strategy and program.
Develop and streamline company standards and prioritize best practices and best available technology for IH containment.
- Support strategic delivery of American Water’s safety performance by building a robust oversight and monitoring program and establishing appropriate mechanisms and metrics.
