Branch Manager; Wholesale Distribution

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 + Quarterly Bonus + Benefits

Our client, a wholesale distributor, is looking for a hands‑on Branch Manager to manage and grow their operation in Monmouth County, NJ. In this role, you will oversee the day‑to‑day branch operations while driving sales, managing inventory, and leading the team. The Branch Manager will be responsible for growing the business, re‑engaging existing customers, developing new accounts, improving inventory accuracy, and keeping the branch running efficiently.

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the branch, including sales, warehouse, inventory, logistics, customer service, and administrative functions
• Own branch performance and profitability, partnering with leadership to review results, identify opportunities, and improve performance
• Drive sales growth by developing new accounts and re‑engaging dormant customers
• Build strong relationships with contractors and other B2B customers and serve as a resource to the sales team
• Lead, coach, and hold a team accountable for performance, customer service, and daily execution
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, receiving, transfers, order fulfillment, and delivery coordination
• Establish priorities for the branch and ensure the team follows through
• Monitor inventory and cycle counts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective action
• Ensure the branch, warehouse, vehicles, and surrounding property are safe, clean, organized, and running efficiently
• Communicate regularly with company leadership and collaborate across departments

• Supervisory or management experience required
• Experience in a contractor-focused B2B distribution environment required
• Proven ability to lead a team, establish accountability, and drive results required
