Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Opportunities
We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to support our manufacturing operations. Candidates with packaging equipment experience may be assigned to support our packaging department. Please note that candidates hired for 2nd or 3rd shift positions will initially train on 1st shift.
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $40.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
- 1st Shift (1 opening): Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift (2 openings): Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift (3 openings): Monday – Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role supports both electrical and mechanical maintenance projects while ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery, motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and related equipment.
- Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete maintenance and repair work.
- Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
- Install, set up, and fine-tune injection molding machines or similar plastic molding equipment.
- Install and maintain fixtures, equipment, and facility systems as needed.
- Service machinery through lubrication, greasing, fueling, and other routine maintenance activities.
- Identify and correct potential safety hazards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain proper use of maintenance supplies and resources.
- Complete additional duties and projects as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical/electrical schematics.
- Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekend schedules as needed.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
