Production Parts Administrator
My Auto Store is looking for a detail-oriented Production Parts Administrator to support our automotive production operation. This position is responsible for tracking vehicles entering the production process, documenting parts in our inventory system, creating and printing production tags, and helping ensure that daily production records are accurate. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with computers and automotive parts, and able to work closely with dismantle rs, supervisors, yard personnel, and analysts in a fast-paced production environment.
This position pays $19.98/hr and will work Monday through Friday 7am – 3:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the daily arrival of vehicles into the Intake Yard and track vehicles throughout the production process.
- Review production requirements and create and print tags identifying parts needed for production lines.
- Enter and maintain accurate vehicle and parts information in the computer system.
- Maintain daily production tracking records and assist with reconciling production results in Pinnacle.
- Review production data for accuracy and identify missing or inconsistent information.
- Report discrepancies, missing parts, and other production variances to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
- Work closely with yard managers, production supervisors, dismantle rs, and analysts to ensure accurate reporting and inventory information.
- Assist with researching and resolving discrepancies between physical production and system records.
- Maintain organized documentation and records related to production and parts.
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2–3 years of automotive experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience with data entry.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn and effectively use inventory and production software.
- Comfortable working around vehicles, automotive parts, and a production/yard environment.
