This opportunity is for a unique individual. Must have an entrepreneurial spirit. Previous ministry experience both inside and outside the church. Need to possess a strong personal relationship with Christ with a desire to "walk by faith". We are looking for spiritually mature believers that have a heart to serve, with a bold spirit. A sports background is a MUST.
We are looking a individual that would be interested in serving as a missionary (yes, you raise your own support-based salary) with the largest sports ministry in the world. The person will also serve as a leader with an upstart church plant in Southern New Jersey area-just outside of Philadelphia.
We are the largest campus ministry in the US and we are looking for an amazing strong believers in Christ to serve with our ministry. The uniqueness of this opportunity is that we are in the midst of working together to plant a church that focuses on encouraging, evangelizing, equipping and empowering people to know and walk with Christ.
So, in essence, this would be a church that targets "competitive-minded" people to disciple who then make more disciples. In simple terms, you'd be a missionary with the top sports ministry in the world.
The "second hat" that one would wear, that would work seamlessly with the first is that the candidate would be a part of a "Jesus-focused" but sports minded church plant. Only folks with an incredible heart for the Lord and an adventurous spirit need apply. The support-based salary raising mechanism usually takes between 9-12 months to raise enough support to become full-time.
