How you can make an impact

As a Nurse Practitioner you will provide primary care services consistent with established policies, procedures and protocols, Joint Commission standards, OSHA guidelines, and other health and safety codes. You will be part of a team that thrives on collaboration, novel thinking, and transformation.

What will you do
  • Coordinate and manage individual patient care in collaboration with the Clinical Director and staff physicians.
  • Work cooperatively with all physicians and staff to carry out the goals and objectives of CAMCARE HEALTH CORPORATION, according to established policies and procedures.
  • Provide continuing care to assigned patients in the office setting, anticipating, recognizing deviations from normal, initiating treatment, and consulting with a physician as appropriate.
  • Order diagnostic tests, medications and lab tests as indicated; analyze, interpret, and synthesize data and apply information to patient management.
  • Provide education and counseling for patients, families, and community groups on various health conditions.
  • Function as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinic policies, procedures, and protocols to achieve organizational goals.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Performance Improvement program.
  • Attend and actively participate in departmental and medical staff meetings as required.
  • Fulfill position responsibilities in a manner commensurate with the mission and objectives of CAMCARE HEALTH CORPORATION.
  • Meet all attendance and punctuality requirements to ensure proper coverage and quality service.
  • Always demonstrate a professional demeanor and behavior when interacting with staff, patients, and the community.
  • Support policies, procedures, and supervisory decisions.
  • Utilize established communication channels and lines of authority for problem solving and communication.
  • Demonstrate an ability to resolve interpersonal and professional conflicts appropriately.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with the CEO, CMO, and other members of the management team, board, and community groups.
  • Keep all matters related to the organization confidential in compliance with confidentiality policy.
  • Provide proper notification of absence or tardiness.
  • Maintain neat and orderly appearance and dress consistent with professional status.
  • Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
Who you are and what you will bring
  • Patient-focused compassionate team player.
  • A passion for helping patients.
  • Active State of New Jersey RN and Advanced Practice Nurse License.
  • Active State of New Jersey CDS and DEA License to prescribe and maintain controlled substances.
  • Certification by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
  • Active BLS certification.
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Maintaining continuing educational requirements as required for licensure and skill maintenance.
  • 2‑4 years’ experience at APN level in an outpatient medical center or long‑term‑care setting (preferred).
