JOB DESCRIPTION - ADVANCED PRACTICED PROVIDER (APP) - Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant – Cardiothoracic Surgery
The Advanced Practice Provider - APP (Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant) responsibilities would include endoscopic vein harvest and first assisting in the OR.
This position includes an on‑call requirement for the OR on nights, weekends, and holidays.
Experience RequiredMinimum of one year experience as a first assistant and endoscopic vein harvest; with endoscopic radial harvest preferred.
Education RequirementsMaster's in Nursing
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
New Jersey license for Advanced Nurse Practitioner & Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant. For Nurse practitioners, must be acute care certified; PA NCCPA.
