The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of nursing care, delegating to and supervising other members of the healthcare team.

• Perform patient assessments and develop, implement and evaluate care plans.
• Administer, monitor and document therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Participate in clinical decision‑making.
• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, care needs, wellness and safety.
• Delegate and monitor care delivered by other nursing staff and the health‑care team.
• Participate in orientation, education and development of the health‑care team.
• Identify and participate in performance‑improvement activities.
• Maintain professional and departmental competencies.

• Experience:
  
  0–1 year preferred; 2–4 years preferred.
• Education:
  
  Associate’s degree required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensure:
  New Jersey RN license.
• Certifications:
  
  NRP, ACLS, BLS required.
