Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU position requiring neuro experience, ACLS, and night shift availability with floating responsibilities across multiple hospital campuses.

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Neuro experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of contract signing (only 2 attempts allowed; test must be taken on a PC — iOS devices are not compatible)
• COVID-19 vaccination required — no exemptions
• Flu vaccination required — no exemptions
• Two current professional references required for consideration

• Hospital-based Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting with a mixed MS/PCU patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Travelers may be required to float within skillset across up to 5 hospital campuses (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and Our Lady of Lourdes)
• May float to the ICU to care for PCU patients who have been downgraded
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Block scheduling is not allowed
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests submitted after will not be accepted
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• Two failed Dysrhythmia test attempts will result in contract cancellation and a Do Not Return (DNR) status with the hospital system
