GHR Healthcare – Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Camden, New Jersey. 13‑week travel nursing contract; 12‑hour night shifts; NJ RN license (or compact) and BLS required. Qualifications /

Job Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum 1 year of recent med/surg telemetry clinical experience (Med/Surg Tele RN or Telemetry Nurse experience)
  • BLS certification required; ACLS or Telemetry certification preferred
  • Comfortable working 12‑hour night shifts in a fast‑paced hospital setting
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary care
  • Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation preferred
Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑quality direct patient care to adult patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
  • Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to arrhythmias and changes in patient status
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered; perform nursing procedures per protocol
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions to support safe transitions of care
