The OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner, at Camden County DOC, Camden NJ, provides comprehensive healthcare services to women across the lifespan, with a focus on reproductive and gynecologic health. This role includes conducting exams, diagnosing and treating conditions, providing prenatal and postpartum care, and educating patients on preventive health and wellness. 4 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive gynecologic and obstetric assessments, including annual exams and prenatal visits
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions related to women’s health
Provide prenatal, postpartum, and family planning care Conduct routine screenings (Pap smears, breast exams, STI testing)
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with state regulations
Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception options, and disease prevention
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care programs
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
Certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with OB/GYN experience DEA certification (if applicable)
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in women’s health or OB/GYN preferred

Follows facility and CFG Health Systems Occurrence Protocol Upholds HIPAA and PREA regulations
Punctual and dependable for assigned/confirmed shifts
Maintains security clearance for the assigned facility
