Accreditation Coordinator

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking a detail-driven and mission-focused Accreditation Coordinator to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will ensure that our programs consistently meet or exceed the standards required by accrediting bodies, licensing agencies, and contractual partners.

As the central point of contact for agency compliance efforts, you will support program leaders across the organization, facilitate accreditation readiness, and help maintain our commitment to the highest level of quality care.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate and support the accreditation process for CARF, ACA, and other regulatory bodies
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly inspections, peer reviews, and safety committee meetings
  • Maintain documentation and prepare corrective action plans when needed
  • Develop a compliance calendar for staff credentials, clearances, and required training
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and regional compliance training
  • Assist in the development and review of agency policies in accordance with updated standards
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal leadership and external auditors
What You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience
  • (or) Master’s degree and at least 1 year of experience
  • Proven ability to work across teams and adapt to various program environments
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and documentation systems
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards
  • Willingness to obtain certification as an internal CARF and ACA surveyor
