Short Description

Assists the Principal Investigator and other members of the research team with preparation of IRB protocols, consent forms, and development of study budgets. Completes and maintains all study documents as required and assists with the identification and recruitment of study participants. Works as a team player with all involved in the research studies.

Experience preferred: cell culture, microscopy (fluorescence and phase), biochemical and molecular biology techniques; teaching laboratory techniques to students; proficiency in Adobe Photoshop; statistical analyses.

Conducts basic and translational research experiments involving cellular, biochemical, and molecular analyses. Performs experiments as directed by lead scientists. Maintains detailed records of experiments. Communicates research findings to Principal Investigators and members of the research team. Trains members of the research team in laboratory methodologies. Oversees the activities of trainees. Maintains organization of laboratory. Monitors laboratory supplies.

One year of biomedical laboratory experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Bachelor’s Degree.
