DUTIES- Assist in the management of a retail activity with sales less than $14M, responsible for receipt, stocking, pricing, inventorying, transfer, replenishment, and warehousing of merchandise.
- Assist customers and resolve complaints; interview, hire, train, or direct training of assigned personnel; coach and develop employees to provide quality service.
- Assist in developing promotional sales and execute operations with vendors and others for assigned departments.
- Supervise vending and warehouse operations; ensure store recovery and compliance with loss prevention policies.
- Key carrier, opening and closing of the store as required, including weekends as scheduled.
- Review monthly P&Ls to compare actual figures to plan; initiate corrective action when needed.
- Direct and supervise other employees and be responsible for overall store in absence of manager.
- Ensure all associates comply with established safety standards and emergency preparedness requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum
- Two years’ experience as a lead/supervisor in a retail environment or completion of the CGX ASM Training Program.
- Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Preferred (in addition to the minimum)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with emphasis in retail or business administration and at least two years of specialized experience; general business experience may be substituted for degree on a year‑for‑year basis.

- Residency requirements for non‑U.S. nationals: must have resided within the United States or U.S. territories for at least three of the last five years.
