Job Overview

The Account Executive, Business Team Sales role is a hunter position focused on acquiring new accounts with small businesses (1-9 employees). The role involves prospecting, cold‑calling, networking, and generating leads to meet and exceed monthly sales quota objectives. Successful candidates will analyze customer needs, present solution‑based selling techniques, negotiate, and close deals to bring T‑Mobile’s products and services to underserved markets.

Job Responsibilities
  • Generate and work leads in both developed and underdeveloped territories through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
  • Sell wireless solutions, including price plans, data services, handsets, and accessories, based on customer needs.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
  • Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management with leadership.
  • Create effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  • Utilize sales force automation, manage the sales funnel, and report on sales activities and forecasts.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 1+ years verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably within a commissioned environment (Preferred)
  • Outside B2B sales experience (Preferred)

Skills and Abilities
  • Task management ability to work well in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment requiring high multi‑tasking.
  • Customer service: demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail.
  • Communication: excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Negotiation: effective negotiating and closing skills, including emotional intelligence and problem‑solving.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $71,700 - $129,500, inclusive of target incentives.

Base Pay Range: $43,020 - $77,700.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. The actual starting pay will vary within this range based on location, qualifications, and experience.
