Account Manager, Hackensack, NJ

Summary

• Position and sell the Pacira portfolio within an assigned territory; develop business plans with the Regional Director to exceed sales revenue objectives.

• Identify target markets using account-based operations and reporting tools/dashboards.
• Exceed corporate revenue objectives in a specified geography.
• Work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, healthcare providers, and pharmacy to drive adoption of the portfolio.
• Develop and maintain expertise of all products.
• Manage territory and time; execute sales activities to meet objectives.
• Participate in strategic/tactical planning with the Region Director.
• Update/document sales account information in Veeva.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hospital/ASC/office conversion processes.
• Develop and execute sales and retention strategies.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings to close business; identify and minimize obstacles.
• Present clinical data to healthcare professionals.
• Manage expense budgets.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ year direct selling experience to hospitals/healthcare professionals in pharma/biotech/device/health care.
• 1+ year OR selling experience preferred.
• Excellent written/oral communication; strong presentation skills.
• Hospital credentialing capability; CRM tools experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and relevant mobile/web applications.
• Travel extensively (up to ~90%); valid driver’s license; live in/near territory.
