Job Summary
Rutgers University-Camden, the Faculty of Arts & Sciences, Chemistry Department, is seeking part-time Co-Adjuncts in the field of Chemistry to aid in the preparation of laboratory or lecture courses in Introductory, General, or Organic Chemistry as well as Biochemistry and Forensic Chemistry disciplines for courses in Fall 2026, Winter 2027, Spring 2027, and/or Summer 2027.
Responsibilities- prepare reagents for chemistry laboratory courses
- wash glassware
- maintain cleanliness of laboratory space
- assist with the preparation of laboratory exercises
- assist the primary course instructor with lecture/laboratory preparation and execution
- assist with data processing or chemical inventory
Part-time
Qualifications- 10 credits of post‑secondary education in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred: laboratory experience.
A minimum of $2,777 per credit.
