Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring for a full‑time Security Shift Supervisor in Camden, NJ. The role requires the ability to walk long distances, proficiency with computers, and a professional demeanor. The shift runs Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, with an hourly rate of $18.00.

  • Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on the assigned shift.
  • Act as liaison between site supervisor, account manager/field operations manager, and professional security officers.
  • Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to staff within approved empowerment limits.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • At least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer‑service skills and the ability to remain calm and efficient in crisis situations.
  • Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
  • Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including use of wireless technology at client sites.
  • Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record (subject to company policy).
  • Background investigation and pre‑employment drug/alcohol testing required; may also need a driver’s record check.
  • Required licensing is subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
