This position is a bargaining‑unit represented role for our Camden, NJ location, requiring part‑time security guard duties across all shifts (Monday–Sunday, including weekday evenings and weekends). The hourly rate is $18.65 with no health or welfare benefits.
- Work under general direction, part‑time/on call.
- Ensure a safe and secure working environment for L3
Harris employees, tenants, guests, and the facility. - Monitor parking patrons to ensure they do not interfere with employee departure and arrival.
- Patrol building perimeter by foot or vehicle.
- Monitor building entries and exits.
- Perform entry control and administrative duties as required.
- Operate access control and alarm systems.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Availability for weekday evenings, weekends, and different shifts from Sunday to Saturday.
- Flexible schedule.
- Properly wear company‑provided uniform.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; able to interact positively and diplomatically.
- Ability to work independently.
- Prior security guard experience.
- LI–LS2 designation.
