- Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off The Specialist, Project Management position will be instrumental in overseeing and executing program management activities within the organization. This role demands a proactive problem-solver who can independently navigate complex tasks with minimal oversight and drive team success through leadership and adaptability in the face of challenges and change.

This role will support Program and Portfolio Managers with production programs and manage medium, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:
* Directs all phases of assigned projects from inception through completion

* Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned projects and/or work packages

* Establishes project milestones and monitors adherence to processes, schedules, identifies project risks and manages risk mitigation or solutions

* Directs the work of employees assigned to the project and lobbies for correct resource allocations as more or less are required, depending on the project phase

* Work collaboratively with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to manage cost and schedule performance and resolve technical issues

* Engage with internal stakeholders, external customers, and leadership to foster effective collaboration
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to interact effectively at all organizational levels

* Able to perform tasks independently with minimal direction using continuous problem-solving techniques and be able to lead through, overcome, and adapt to obstacles and challenges

* Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance

* May perform other assigned duties, from time to time

* Sales Order setup, entry, processing into Cost Point
* Data entry into CLMS

* Processing of RFP/Qs

* Assisting with Contract Closures

Education and Experience:

* Requires comprehensive level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
* Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of project management, industrial engineering, manufacturing, or related industry experience

* Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of project management, industrial engineering, manufacturing, or related industry experience

* In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of project management, industrial engineering, manufacturing, or related industry experience

* Requirement to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance within 1 year from date of hire which requires US citizenship. Preferred Additional

Skills:

* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

* Fluent with Costpoint ERP/MRP

* Earned Value Management System (EVMS) / Cost and Schedule experience

* Cost Account Management (CAM) experience

* Risk/Issue/Opportunities (RIO) experience

* Microsoft Project (scheduling), Microsoft Excel (pivot tables), and Microsoft PowerPoint experience

* Sales Order setup, entry, processing into Cost Point
* Data entry into CLMS

* Processing of RFP/Qs

* Assisting with Contract Closures

* Active DoD Secret Clearance In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $67K-$124K. For California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $76-$141K.

This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
