Job Description
Primary ResponsibilityTroubleshoot, repair, maintain and replace production equipment, such as: tanks, pumps, agitators, gearboxes, valves, conveyors, blowers and fans while observing plant safety requirements and lock-out/tag-out procedures. Report issues that are beyond their ability to fix or repair to supervision. Document preventive maintenance tasks, repair activity and spare parts usage within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Perform pipe fitting, welding, fabrication, equipment installation and alignments.
SecondaryResponsibility
Set example for safe operation of machinery and equipment. Provide feedback to management. Support engineers, production operators and contractors. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to support operations or when emergencies arise.
Qualifications and Education RequirementsHS Diploma or GED. 3+ years experience in industrial maintenance- chemical preferred. US Citizen.
Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to be trained in confined space entry. Comfortable working at heights (scissor lift, high reach, scaffolding).
