Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
Plastipak is looking for a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to support plant operations. This role focuses on repair and maintaining the Production Lines, Extruders, and Auxiliary equipment associated with production lines. Electrical troubleshooting, motors, chillers, conveyors, grinders, boilers, and any other equipment installed within Plastipak.

- Investigate, troubleshoot and review machinery and equipment problems looking to implement corrective actions.
- Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment and machines
- Operate and test equipment electrically and mechanically for performance and determine if repairs and scheduled maintenance are successful and ensures longevity of the repair.
- Perform work requiring a thorough working knowledge of electrical principles, wiring specification codes, properties of various materials, principles of operation, and application of equipment
- Install, wire, or re-wire electrical devices, such as; contractors, overloads, photo eyes, solenoid valves, motors, relays, VFD's and heaters bands.
- Minimum of 3 years hands on electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge & skills
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective measures
- Ability to troubleshoot de-energized/live circuits, PLC, HMI, VFD, Controls, Motors, and Sensors
- Demonstrated knowledge of wiring and designing of circuits (required)
