Position Summary
Center For Family Services is seeking a full-time Student Support Specialist. The role involves collaborating with partners to provide comprehensive case management services, identifying barriers for students, and developing appropriate service plans.

Job Type & StatusFull‑time
Salary$50,000 to $55,000 per year, plus a $500 sign‑on bonus upon hire.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide outreach to identified students and their families.
- Conduct one‑on‑one interviews and assessments of prospective referrals; schedule intake appointments.
- Develop and maintain individual service plans and records for students and families.
- Review service plans and proactively connect students and families to available resources, assisting with application for assistance programs.
- Provide one‑on‑one coaching and support as needed.
- Collaborate with Camden Re‑Engagement Center staff to help students who have dis‑engaged or dropped out connect to alternative education pathways for diploma attainment.
- Maintain professional growth through attendance at trainings and workshops.
- Enter all documentation, including case notes and contacts, into the data system; examine trends in the community that may affect families, partners, and stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree in education, social services, or related field; relevant experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines under time pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience working with community partnerships and collaborations.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with youth facing adversity, including homelessness, poverty, and trauma.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and belief that young people can succeed.
