Solution Design, implementation, and application team alignment. Technical ownership of upgrade approach, standards, quality, and reusable automation patterns. Validate upgraded applications through available automated tests and coordinate test evidence.

• Define standard upgrade patterns for supported technology stacks
• Review dependency upgrade recommendations and approve upgrade strategy
• Guide upgrade engineers on complex failure analysis
• Establish version upgrade rules, compatibility checks, rollback guidance, and branch/PR practices
• Review pull requests, build failures, test results, and technical handover notes
• Maintain upgrade playbooks and reusable templates
• Ensure upgrades follow security, quality, and engineering standards
• Support technical triage with application teams when pipeline failures occur

• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Strong hands-on experience with one or more major technology ecosystems:
  • Java/Maven/Gradle/Spring Boot
  • Node.js/npm/yarn/pnpm
  • .NET/Nu Get
  • Python/pip/Poetry
  • Container images and base image upgrades
• Strong understanding of application development lifecycle, dependency upgrades, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.
• Experience with tools such as Dependabot, Renovate, Snyk, Black Duck, Sonatype Nexus IQ, Mend, OWASP Dependency-Check, or equivalent

The pay range for this role is $120000- $130000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
