We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join a long-term development team in Whippany, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, and cloud technologies
, particularly Open Shift
, along with a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing.
The developer will contribute to application development, enhancement, testing, deployment, and maintenance while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java
. - Develop backend services and applications using Spring Boot
. - Contribute to frontend development using React
. - Develop and integrate applications using cloud technologies
, including Open Shift
. - Participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform unit, integration, and application testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Support application deployment and maintenance activities.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java
. - Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
. - Experience with React
. - Experience with Cloud Technologies
, particularly Open Shift
. - Strong understanding of SDLC processes.
- Experience with software/application testing
. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment
