Center For Family Services is seeking an experienced Bus Driver for its Mosaic Early Learning Program. The candidate will transport children or adults to school, centers, and programs for related activities. They must ensure passenger and pedestrian safety, manage route schedules, conduct daily vehicle inspections, perform routine maintenance, keep the vehicle clean, and maintain accurate records.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to staff and promote respect and dignity among colleagues and students.
• Adhere to Department of Transportation regulations, CFS Head Start transportation policies, and all applicable laws.
• Maintain route schedule, report damage or malfunction immediately, and conduct emergency bus drills.
• Provide culturally competent client care and collaborate with bus aid to teach children safe riding practices.
• Attend required staff meetings, classroom and behind-the‑wheel instruction before transporting children, and annual refresher training.
• Submit to mandatory random drug screenings and cooperate with TB test, physical examination and vision/hearing test.
• Maintain accurate records for vehicle and passengers.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Maintain First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Pass TB test, drug screening, and physical examination with hearing and vision test.
• Excellent driving record and current driver's license with at least three years of experience.
• Vehicle with current insurance and registration.
