Class A CDL driver (Regional Driver) is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients. A Class A CDL driver has acquired a commercial driver's license (CDL) to operate trucks or commercial vehicles to transport materials and heavy equipment. This role requires a high level of professionalism, customer service, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including those set by the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration).

What you will be doing:- This is a REGIONAL DRIVER job
- Operate and drive a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Safely load, transport, and unload goods according to delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, hours of service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
- Adhere to GEODIS policies and procedures, including safety protocols and reporting requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or delays promptly to the appropriate parties.

- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL Driver.
- Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Must have successfully completed a driver’s road test and have been issued a certificate of driver’s road test or possess a valid commercial driver’s license.
- Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle.
- Must have a valid operator’s license for the type of vehicle which they are assigned to drive.
- Must be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with 49 CFR Part 391.41
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instruction
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
