Position Summary
The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, federal and state regulations, and deliver all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing world‑class customer service experience.
Duties & Responsibilities- Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation. Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
- Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around.
- Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment. Possess stamina to lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs for load/unload.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Minimum Class B License;
Class A strongly preferred. - Clear three‑year motor vehicle report (MVR).
- Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

- Remain stationary while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
- Lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs for loading/unloading.
- Move materials weighing up to 80 lbs while unloading flatbed.
- Operate commercial vehicle or boom vehicle and position to unload materials.
- Judge distance accurately while delivering materials or operating boom.
- Communicate accurate information with management and coworkers.
- Work consistently in the outdoors while making deliveries.
- Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
- Manage stress depending on customer deadlines.
- Multitask effectively.
- Accept information and directions.
- Quickly communicate solutions when problems occur.
- Demonstrate a high degree of sound judgment.
The base salary falls within the range of $25.87 to $32.93 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on location, education, training, and experience. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime and performance‑based bonus or commission programs, car allowance, automobile and fuel program, and travel‑expense reimbursement.
