Hengst of North America is looking for a hands‑on Project Manage
r to lead and coordinate plant improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, efficiency, and operational performance at our Camden, SC manufacturing facility.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, or plant operations who enjoys working cross-functionally to solve problems, improve processes, and bring projects from concept to completion.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and coordinate plant improvement projects from planning through completion
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Plant Leadership to define project scope, priorities, and timelines.
  • Coordinate internal teams, contractors, and vendors to keep projects on schedule.
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, facility improvements, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Track project progress, budgets, and milestones while communicating status and risks to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and overall plant performance.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and in alignment with quality and operational goals.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, plant operations, engineering support, or a related industrial environment.
  • Experience coordinating plant improvement, maintenance, capital, or operational projects.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, maintenance practices, and plant operations.
  • PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus.
