Job DescriptionEntity/Organization: MUHA (Medical University Hospital Authority/Medical Center)
Hours Per Week: 24 – 48 hrs per every 6-week schedule, depending on the tier you choose
Scheduled Work Hours/Shift: 12-hr shifts

Required Licensure, Certifications, RegistrationsLicensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
Physical and Mental RequirementsAbility to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking; climb stairs; work indoors and outdoors in temperature extremes; work from elevated areas; work in confined/cramped spaces; kneel, bend, twist, squat; perform fine and gross motor movements; reach overhead; perform repetitive motions; lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted; lift/lower objects up to 50 lbs from floor or to 36 inches;
visually and hearing acuity; maintain peripheral vision; tolerances for stress; work rotating shifts and overtime; work in a latex-safe environment. Specific force and lifting examples are noted in the original description (e.g., transferring a patient, pushing a stretcher) for context.
