Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Minimum Training and EducationAssociate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations- Licensed as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required – AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or AHA recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors and outdoors, from elevated areas, in confined/cramped spaces, from kneeling positions, bending, twisting, squatting, pinching, gross motor activities, firm grasping and fine manipulation with fingers and hands, reaching overhead, repetitive hand/wrist/elbow/shoulder motions, using both legs, balancing, reaching in all directions, lifting and carrying 50 lbs. unassisted, lifting 50 lbs. from floor to 36 inches, lifting 25 lbs.
from 36" to overhead, exerting up to 50 lbs. force, visual acuity 20/40, color discrimination, depth perception, peripheral vision, hearing acuity, stress management, rotating shifts, overtime as required, latex safe environment, tactile sensory functions, olfactory functions, respirator use.
