American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at an acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and night shift availability.

• 54-bed Med/Surg unit within a 119-bed acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7p–7a
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating within scope to like units or sister facilities may be required
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Telemetry/cardiac drip management experience preferred

• Active RN license — SC state or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• IV start skills required
• Two professional references required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) are considered on a case-by-case basis
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; approval is based on facility needs
• Block scheduling may be requested prior to assignment start but is not guaranteed
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Free parking available in unrestricted spaces on campus
• Holiday coverage is required as needed
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
