Registered Nurse Operating Room

$1985.60/week -

Job Summary:

The OR RN will provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role involves ensuring patient safety, supporting surgical teams, and maintaining compliance with hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and postoperative patient care, assessing and monitoring patient conditions.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely and efficient procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure adherence to infection control standards.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records and communicate effectively with team members.
• Respond promptly to on-call emergencies and support float assignments within scope as needed.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements, including certifications and licensing, to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina or Compact RN license prior to start date.
• Possess at least 4 years of recent OR nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills and surgical support experience.
• Be able to work 10-hour day shifts, with willingness to participate in call rotation.
• Able to float within scope to various units or facilities and meet staffing needs.
