Maintenance Lead, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to provide hands‑on technical leadership in a fast‑paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role will lead daily maintenance activities, support equipment reliability, troubleshoot complex issues, and help develop a strong, safety‑focused maintenance team.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on maintenance professional who can lead by example, solve problems, and keep production running safely and efficiently.

• Provide day‑to‑day technical leadership and direction to maintenance technicians.

• Prioritize and coordinate maintenance activities based on safety, production needs, and equipment reliability.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.

• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize unplanned downtime.

• Identify recurring equipment issues and support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Coach and develop maintenance technicians through hands‑on training and support.

• Partner closely with Production to address equipment issues and improve reliability.

• Maintain accurate work orders, equipment history, and maintenance documentation through the CMMS.

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout and other safety requirements.

• Support equipment installations, modifications, continuous improvement projects, and contractor activities.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.

• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.

• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

• Demonstrated leadership or lead technician experience.

• Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
  , including weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying shifts as needed.

Preferred:

• Technical degree, industrial maintenance certification, or related training.

• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, and automation.

• CMMS experience.

• Experience with root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.

• Experience in a continuous‑process or high‑speed manufacturing environment.
