Pay: $40 - $50 per hour

• Dental Hygienist License CPR Certification BLS Certification X-ray / Radiography Certification Local Anesthesia Certification Nitrous Oxide Certification Expanded Functions Dental Hygienist Advanced Dental Hygiene Practitioner Certification Infection Control License Driver's license

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
• Take X-rays to help identify any oral health issues.
• Use an intra oral camera so that the patients can see problem areas.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and other preventive care measures.
• Assist the dentist in determining the best treatment plan for the patient
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (Eaglesoft), documenting treatment plans, medical records, and medical coding details.
• Follow infection prevention protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment and comply with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Monitor and record vital signs, assess patient comfort levels, and provide support throughout dental procedures.
• Manage dental equipment maintenance, sterilization processes, and infection control procedures to uphold the highest standards of healthcare infection prevention and control expertise.
• Communicate effectively with patients to address questions about dental care, treatment options, and post-treatment instructions.
• Efficient time management so that you can stay on schedule.
• Review treatment plans with the patient and help them get scheduled for their next cleaning as well as for future treatment.
• Administer local anesthetic for our patients when Dr. Hall needs help.

Jobley Bonus: $180 (awarded to candidates hired through Jobley)
