Hours: 40 hours per week M-F 8-5, Rotating Saturday shift 8-12.

Job Purpose: Provide support to the Loan Department with primary responsibilities being loan administration, portfolio maintenance, and operations support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review daily loan reports and assist in the reconciliation of those reports.
• Work directly with the credit department to ensure all information is obtained, complete and accurate.
• Act as a liaison between the customers, loan officers, and loan administration staff through the loan process.
• Perform a variety of customer’s service activities including responding to requests, researching discrepancies and resolving issues.
• Coordinate processing of approved loans; ensures loans are processed according to the approval and they conform to financial institution lending policies; obtains sufficient information and/or documentation from customers; coordinates with the processing staff to obtain necessary documentation for loan processing; solves problems relative to processing and servicing loans.
• Monitor loans to ensure compliance with loan documentation and financial institution policies.
• Perform quality control review for new and seasoned loans, including loan modifications and ensure appropriate documentation in system and loan file.
• Monitor, research or instruct payment processing for borrower payments, disbursements, fees, and collect appropriate fees due.
• Perform standard loan calculations such as loan payment amounts, amortization schedules, payoff quotes and prepayment calculations.
• Work with employees and customers at all levels within the financial institution.
• Work closely with lenders, processors, credit underwriters, and closers to appropriately document and process the credit file of each borrower.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 5 years professional experience in a comparable industry role or prior loan servicing experience
• Strong written, verbal and customer service skills
• Strong PC skills, including a demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Possess the ability to work accurately and efficiently under time constraints

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
