Special Education Teacher, Elementary School
Step into a rewarding role guiding elementary students as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming academic year. You'll work 35 hours per week across five days, providing critical support to young learners and encouraging both academic and personal growth.
Qualifications- Valid Georgia Special Education Certification required
- Experience with elementary-aged students is strongly preferred
- Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Adaptable and committed to fostering an inclusive environment
- Develop and execute tailored lesson plans for a diverse group of elementary students with varying educational needs
- Monitor student progress, document growth, and adjust strategies when necessary
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support each learner
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute insights for effective planning
- Foster a positive, structured classroom atmosphere that celebrates student strengths
This position offers a starting pay rate of $35 per hour, ensuring your expertise and dedication are recognized.
