Job Details
This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Hours1st Shift, typically 05:30-16:00 (or until crew members work until transfer is completed; overtime may be required)
Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri (off on Wednesdays)
Part of Live Operations, subject to work as required based on operational needs.
Qualifications- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and company policies and regulations.
- Can perform general labor without any restrictions (physically demanding—lifting and lowering up to 30 pounds to fullest extensions).
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Follow a time sensitive schedule, using a specific pull sheet and working as part of a team.
- Transfer chicks from hatchers to the separator room via a dolly, navigating wet/slippery cement floors and hot, humid, dusty environments.
- Set up equipment and work area.
- Perform sanitation duties: wear PPE and use sanitation equipment and products to clean hatchery equipment and work areas after production.

Pay: $17.95 per hour.
