Investigate and follow up on open account balances overdue 45 days or more to determine reason for non-payment;
Review accounts with initial evaluations as early as 21 days old to ensure correct payor;
Make outgoing calls to patients, insurance companies and attorneys regarding claim status to reduce receivables and DSO;
Manage correspondence and inquiries, and identify and resolve issues impacting timely collection;
Counsel patients on financial options, establish payment plans, and initiate dunning letter process
